Summary
The Corporate FP&A team is central to all financial planning and analytics for Outerwall. We have a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial work environment. This position offers the opportunity to work across the enterprise as well as with Shared Services teams and closely with Accounting. The role will be focused on providing financial analysis of corporate, line of business and departmental level initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead content analytics process including impacting purchase decisions * Conduct post-mortem analysis to determine trends and learnings * Pro-actively strive to understand business drivers and content performance * Summarize data analysis into Executive-level presentations * Impact financial planning process with insights from content analytics * Identify risks and opportunities * Develop tools and models to aid in analysis and decision making * Maintain and update historical data files * Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Ideal Candidate
**Education & Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related Analytical field required * Minimum of 5 years analytical experience; preferably finance, economics, banking, demand planning, or statistics * Advanced financial modeling, Excel and PowerPoint presentation experience, SQL a plus. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** * In-depth analytical modeling ability with advanced Excel knowledge * High degree of self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision * Broad business knowledge and an understanding of business profitability drivers * Proven analytic and quantitative decision-making skills, including significant examples of problem-solving, performing detailed analysis, and developing recommendations * Comfort working in an unstructured environment and ability to develop standards and best practices * Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management * Natural intellectual curiosity and willingness to ask questions * Adept at learning new software and analysis methods * Ability to manage demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with limited resources or information.
