Summary
We are looking for a Financial Analyst II that brings Corporate Finance experience and an entrepreneurial aptitude to accelerate decision making and management of the business. Responsibilities
* Creation of expense projections for annual budgets, long-term plans as well as interim forecasts and “what if” scenarios, focusing on the underlying business drivers, key financial and operating metrics and relative sensitivity analysis * Refine the Company’s expense modeling tools and techniques to support business growth, including effectively translating business requirements into planning and reporting solutions * Ensure expense modeling tools and techniques incorporate versatility to support quick turnaround and multiple growth scenarios * Demonstrated ability to forecast capital requirements from demand drivers including ROI of capital investments and the impact to the various financial statements * Develop an understanding of expected revenue growth to ensure appropriate drivers, including expected efficiencies, are incorporated into the expense forecasting process * Assess actual expense results and trends relative to forecast to ensure a thorough understanding of the variance drivers. Work with senior business leaders to develop action plans, procedures or solutions * Prepare and distribute recommendations, reporting and analysis as needed
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance is required * 3-5 years of broad-based, progressive financial analysis and planning experience * Financial modeling and analysis techniques in high growth organizations including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Experience and familiarity with cash flow concepts * Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously * Collaborative and customer-service work style * Experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing environments * Exceptional attention to detail and results-oriented * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * CPA is preferred * E-commerce or Retail industry background * Understanding of SQL and Tableau
