L.A. Care Health Plan is a community-accountable health plan serving Los Angeles County residents through a variety of health coverage programs including L.A. Care Covered™, Medi-Cal, L.A. Care Cal MediConnect Plan and PASC-SEIU Homecare Workers Health Care Plan.
Responsibilities
A key member of a cross-functional communications team, the digital developer will implement business requirements and code-related changes on all L.A. Care digital properties, proactively troubleshoot and resolve production defects, and serve as a source of technical expertise in developing and implementing dynamic, responsive digital applications for our varied users.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** * Required : High School Diploma * Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic arts, graphic communications or related field **Experience:** **Required :** * With High School Diploma: 10+ years of experience working with Drupal * Knowledge of SEO coding best practices; comfortable integrating websites with other web applications and systems, both commercial and open source; self starter, ability to work with minimal supervision * Equally skilled at working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment * Have practical, hands-on skills with relevant technical platforms and languages and a proactive approach toward developing solutions * Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with Specialists, Supervisors, Designers, and other Developers **Preferred:** * With Bachelor's Degree: 3-5 years of experience working with Drupal * With Associate's Degree: 5 years of experience working with Drupal
