eCommerce - UX Developer

We are looking for a UX Developer to join our eCommerce product development team. We have an entrepreneurial culture that promotes creativity, personal initiative, team collaboration, and fun. At a high level, you will be responsible for translating complex user interactions into simple and elegant solutions while keeping the user experience front and center of everything we do. General responsibilities include: creating mock-ups, wireframes, interactive prototypes, style guides, etc., in collaboration with other partners across the organization, and help build and implement solutions with appropriate front-end technologies. The eCommerce development team is responsible for designing, developing and delivering intuitive web, smartphone and windows based applications leveraging advanced and cutting edge technologies. * Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand user and business requirements * Use your solid understanding of UX best practices to create highly engaging, intuitive and easy to use experiences and designs * Create and implement designs, icons and layouts that adhere to and extend the application * Thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment * Work with designers and developers to deliver a polished final product * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator)

* Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a member of a user experience design team working on web applications * A degree in Graphic Art/Design or related field(HCI, interaction or graphic design) or equivalent work experience * Proven understanding of interaction design concepts and a unique sense of design principles * Have strong hands on coding experience in the following skills * Extensive experience with JavaScriptand major JavaScriptframeworks * Extensive skills using HTML5, CSS3, and major CSS frameworks like Bootstrap / foundation CSS * Strong debugging abilities across all major browsers * Strong knowledge of current web design trends and user-centered techniques * Strong communication and presentation skills * Ability to balance multiple priorities, solve complex problems while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment
