Summary
We’re looking for an Accountant based in Atlanta to join our finance team and support operations in Atlanta. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be a full-time accountant for Knock and join a rapidly growing startup. We are looking for someone who is highly accurate, meticulous and efficient. You should be passionate about instituting best practices, creating efficiency, and constantly improving our tools, systems, and processes. Knock prides itself in providing an excellent experience for customers, partners, and vendors--and someone who can embody this ideal no matter the function will enjoy working here. This is a new role in the company and your experience and frameworks will be used to develop the position allowing for future growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
As an Accountant you will: You will be hands-on in all aspects of day to day accounting including: * Manage property related Accounts Payable functions from entry, approval, processing and filing * Process employee expense claims * Enter and collect support for corporate credit card expenses * Manage purchase order processing and investigate reasons for discrepancies * Reconcile property settlement statements * Interface with outside vendors and fellow staff to support property transaction processing * Assist with month end close where needed * Perform ad-hoc financial analysis
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for teammates who have: * At least 2-4 years experience in A/P processing and general bookkeeping * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field * Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Expensify and Google Apps, Sage Intacct is a plus * Analytical and organizational skills coupled with the ability to multitask effectively without compromising the quality of work * Experience working in a startup environment a plus * Self-starter, with strong ability to work with minimal direction and to set effective project plans.
