Summary
The senior manager’s primary responsibility is to develop, implement, and evaluate marketing and communications activities that define and support KentuckyOne Health Partners. This support extends to aligning KentuckyOne Health Partners’ communications and marketing related activities with that of the KentuckyOne Health System. This individual will enhance existing relationships through education of managed care payers, key stakeholders, business partners and appropriate clinical decision makers on the value of the KentuckyOne Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). This role is integral to the financial well-being of KentuckyOne Health Partners by successful securing and onboarding relationships internally and externally. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in Business or Healthcare Administration and have a proven track record of marketing and public relations in a managed care environment.
Responsibilities
* Develops, recommends, and delivers the products and services that will meet and address the marketing/communication key indicators, as determined by the organization’s strategic and business plan * Manages development of marketing/communication materials and delivery schedules * Facilitates marketing/communication skill development across organization’s leadership appropriate to their role and visibility in the community
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** * A master’s degree in marketing, business, hospital administration marketing or related field is preferred; a bachelor’s degree with healthcare and marketing experience is required. * Other healthcare education such as nursing or other clinical training would be beneficial in combination with a marketing/management degree **Experience:** * Prefer a minimum of seven (5) years of progressive experience in healthcare management and marketing is required. * A broad understanding of hospital operations, the health industry and experience in developing and managing a comprehensive marketing and public relations program, including all marketing functions, is required. * Familiarity with the community and/or state is preferred. * Must have strong working knowledge Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Must have the capacity to learn other relevant systems and databases, as needed **Additional Responsibilities:** * Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times. * Adheres to and exhibits our core values: **Reverence:** Having a profound spirit of awe and respect for all creation, shaping relationships to self, to one another and to God and acknowledging that we hold in trust all that has been given to us. **Integrity:** Moral wholeness, soundness, uprightness, honesty and sincerity as a basis of trustworthiness. **Compassion:** Feeling with others, being one with others in their sorrows and joys, rooted in the sense of solidarity as members of the human community.
