Summary
Responsible for the management of assigned Global Product line portfolio(s) of high pressure hydraulic products. Responsible for development and implementation of strategies/plans to meet business objectives (strategy alignment, overall Product line revenue growth, profit growth, new Products development, launch & performance, pricing, market promotion, inventory reduction, SKU reduction, etc.).
Responsibilities
* Portfolio Management , develop Global Product line plan and implement that plan in order to achieve marketing, sales and financial performance objectives for Product line(s). * Monitor key market and Product line performance metrics and develop initiatives to meet the objectives for those metrics. * In-depth Global market analyses of market size, competitors, channels, key industry segments and end-user requirements for assigned Product line(s). * Identify, evaluate and implement programs to reduce Product costs within assigned Product line(s). * Manage the ideation process for new Products through the new Product development process including collecting and analyzing Voice of Customer; pressure testing those opportunities and translating them into a viable business case. * Develop and manage Product and technology roadmaps. * Proven experience in collecting and analyzing Voice of Customer and translating intro Product opportunities * Define Global customer requirements in Product features, service, technical application, pricing and delivery. * Global new Product identification, definition and development initiatives to meet business objectives. * Evaluate and monitor Global competitive landscape. * Develop and implement new marketing strategies and work closely with marketing communications to provide commercial material (including, but not limited to catalogs, brochures, training materials, internet marketing, technical data) to support the Products and field sales. * Work with the analysts to set pricing levels and drive programs to deliver margin through pricing and Product costs that obtain revenues/gross margins to meet the operating plan. * Provide Product line support to regional marketing and commercial teams. * Provide commercial marketing support to Global commercial teams, design and implement market awareness, share capture, and penetration initiatives. * Forecast Global annual Product requirements and provide targeted inventory levels to achieve working capital performance, as well as customer service goals.
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrated business acumen and strategic portfolio management. * Demonstrated strong management skills to lead a team and champion concurrent projects is required. * Effective interpersonal, written communication and presentation skills in an aggressive business environment are required. * Excellent organizational skills are required. * Proficiency using electronic spreadsheet, database, word processing and graphical presentation software, preferably Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point) are required. * Experience in one of the following vertical market is preferred: Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Infrastructure, Mining. International work experience is preferred. * Minimum of eight years of experience, with a minimum of five years’ experience in a marketing and/or sales role. * **Education Requirements** : BS/BA degree in Business, Engineering, relative technical field or equivalent previous experience. MBA preferred. * **Experience Requirements** :Experience or high exposure to industrial Products in international markets is strongly preferred. Sustained record of self-motivated industrial/manufacturing sales or marketing achievements.

Working Conditions

Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including traveling by air/auto to remote sites. Position may require travel up to 50%
