Summary
The Commissions Analyst II will support the administration of Sales Compensation across Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, Inc. The FA II will report to the Sales Compensation Manager.
Responsibilities
* Update, maintain and utilize Xactly (sales compensation software) to process monthly and yearly Sales Executive and Management performance – Booking, Sales, Commissions and Bonuses * Reconcile large complex data flow between multi-database systems * Create/maintain sales performance reporting/tracking * Provide ad-hoc financial analysis relating to various sale compensation programs (scenario and variance analysis) * Partner with Executive leaders to research, resolve and document the business cases for compensation-related issues, changes or exceptions * Maintain sales force account alignment and produce visual representation of territory boundaries (mapping) * Support the Sales Compensation Committee to review, finalize, and make recommendations for sales compensation plans * Provide analysis that challenges status quo compensation practices and provide alternative recommendations * Improve and refine (change leader) processes to provide more accuracy, accessibility and efficiency
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business/Finance/Accounting * Prefer 3+ years of strong quantitative compensation experience in a medium to large sized organization * Advance Excel proficiency (pivot tables, “sumifs” formulas etc.) to work with large data sets * Prefer experience with MS Access, SAP, Business Intelligence and Xactly * Requires strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills * Familiarity with accounting concepts and commission accrual/payout impact to the P&L * Strong problem solving skills combined with ability to self-start on program initiatives are a must * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines * Excellent time management, prioritization skills and attentive to details * Service oriented with demonstrated history for independent thinking, quality work and exceeding expectations * Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and vice versa * Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
