Summary
This position requires a Project Manager with a background in trafficking and account management, a familiarity with creative department work flow, project management system evaluation and implementation. The primary responsibilities of this position are to manage the workflow of the Creative Department and manage requests from the Creative Department’s internal clients. This person will meet with key stakeholders of departments requesting work, determine scope of projects, and traffic projects to delivery while managing departmental calendar. This person will also be responsible for assessing current workflow systems and tools and making recommendations for improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage workflow of department. Take job requests, determine project scope, prioritize and schedule job, negotiate deadlines based on changing workflow. - Act as primary contact for other departments requesting work. Determine project scope, strategies, assets needed, schedules and deliverables. - Traffic job throughout development and execution process. Keep stakeholders apprised of timelines, negotiating as needed. - Present project scope and schedule to internal team as well as to cross-departmental partners. Represent team when present solutions to stakeholders. - Work independently and collaboratively to develop timelines. Make necessary changes with a spirit of collaboration and cooperation. - Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management, traffic, and account management, or equivalent experience with an in-house or agency creative department managing accounts or traffic. - Proven ability to manage accounts or traffic a creative department. Intermediate skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. - Verbal and written communication skills. Advanced problem solving skills; diverse interpersonal skills, must be detail oriented, and analytical. Must be adaptable and must be able to listen without interruption. - Experience evaluating and/or implementing project management tools. - Ability to build positive working relationships and establish a high level of trust and credibility with all levels of the organization. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively. - Must participate in company-wide safety program. - Must be able to pass a background check, illegal drug screening, and have a suitable driving record as contingencies to employment. - Past employment, references, and education will be verified. - This position is open until filled.
