Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will be a member of the management team and report to the regional underwriting manager. * You will have responsibility for your Personal Lines book of business, as well as maintaining and developing strong independent agency relationships throughout the territory.
Ideal Candidate
* Four year college degree is required * A minimum of 7 years' experience in the underwriting, marketing and management of all personal lines business * A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a personal lines unit in a carrier setting * Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with a good mix of "hands on" and "big picture" management abilities * Strong technical underwriting and marketing skills * Proven ability to successfully build and grow a personal lines program * Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, etc. are strongly preferred
