Summary
This position executes sales enablement and demand generation strategies to support sales pipeline growth and revenue, support development, communication and implementation of marketing campaign tactics that accelerate revenue and margin performance. As marketing point of contact for sales they provide ongoing closed loop communication representing Marketing to Sales Leadership, communicating initiatives, and qualifying sales requests for marketing support.
Responsibilities
* Proactively develop, launch, and manage ongoing sales enablement projects and marketing campaigns. Recommends joint ad-hoc marketing/sales programs. * Submits thorough Creative Service Requests within defined criteria and timelines. * Prepares status and response reports on marketing efforts. Organizes and communicates marketing tools. * Demonstrates judgment and influence working cross-functionally to drive initiatives. * With the assistance of other departments, coordinate all aspects of campaign including: * Product Management for product selection, content, and offers. * Marketing Operations team for list pull criteria, and ROI reporting results. * The Insight Agency for creative execution and production. * Sales for telemarketing, and lead follow up activities. * Point of contact for closed loop communication representing Marketing to Sales Leadership through regular management system. * Develops closed loop communication process ensuring coverage within sales team. Contributes in Sales Leadership meetings with team, communicating marketing initiatives to sales, and sales initiatives to marketing. * Supports Events team in sales communication for all Insight events and external tradeshows, driving attendance through sales teams. * Funnel to Marketing Team that validates ad-hoc sales requests for marketing support. Develops process, utilizes experience and judgment to qualify, approve, prioritize, sales requests either managing on own or escalating to appropriate business owner. Ensures all necessary information is obtained before delivery to correct functional area within marketing. * Provides recommendations for the yearly Go-to-Market process representing sales needs to marketing, and communicating participation and input where needed. * All other assigned duties
Ideal Candidate
**Education and/or Experience** * Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; Business Administration/Marketing major preferred. * Have a minimum of 3 years marketing experience within Business-to-Business sales organization.
