Summary
We’re looking for an energetic, driven HR professional to support our Director of HR in people initiatives for our caregiver and corporate employee populations across New York and New Jersey. You will play a vital role on our People Ops team, which is dedicated to building a collaborative, supportive work environment where employees are constantly challenged, growing, and impassioned by our mission. The ideal candidate has strong foundational HR experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a passion for partnering strategically with the business on an employee and company level. Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted, confidential resource for corporate employees and caregivers by leading employee relations investigations, terminations, and exit interviews * Collaborate with our Director of HR to enhance team policies and procedures including compensation practices, performance evaluation programs, professional growth, development plans, management training, and handbook rollout * Maintain up-to-date employee files in ADP and lead internal audits to ensure compliance regulatory agencies
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of HR experience * Bilingual (English/Spanish) required * Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence and ethical practice: must be capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with employees and influencing, facilitating and coaching individuals at all levels of the organization * Comfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with first-class organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills * Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability; experience with process design or process improvement strongly preferred * Deep connection to and passion for our mission to improve people’s lives
