- Business partner: Pro-actively builds strong relationships with client group as well as the extended HR community to understand their needs, requirements and challenges and recommend solutions
- Talent Mobility & Recruitment: Identifies together with the HR Divisional Vice President, talent priorities and strategy, develops plans for implementation and participates in recruitment for positions.
- Performance Management: Ensures management consistently applies performance management practices, aligned to business strategies with a focus on development.
- Employee Relations: Independently coach people managers to elevate competence and support situationally.
- Development: Ensures effective onboarding of new hires/transfers, coaches managers to develop stronger leaders. Works with the business to identify and develop talent in the organization, and manages the Talent Review processes.
- Employee Engagement: Leads efforts in analyzing, communicating and feedback collection; active role in action planning and monitoring progress against plans.
- Project Management: Leads and manages projects effectively and partners with the HR Divisional Vice President and the business on projects, including organizational design, change management and process changes
- Organizational Development: Proactively identifies and together with the HR Divisional Vice President, facilitates change management and organizational development initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships that create an environment of trust, accountability, and open communication for all employees.
- 7+ years of relevant Retail Store / Corporate HR Business Partner and Generalist experience
- Undergraduate degree required
- Business Acumen / Intellectual Curiosity, enabling assessment of opportunities to support the business in achieving objectives
- High degree of Emotional Intelligence
- Resourceful, with strong problem solving ability; able to take an issue in the business and create plan to address
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coach leaders in support of overall development and team leadership
