Summary
We are looking for an experienced superstar to join our small team dedicated both to cross functional understanding and to questioning the status quo in the pursuit of end-to-end product delivery excellence. We are looking for someone who brings a combination of interpersonal skills, critical thinking, organization, and structured planning abilities to manage aspects of Product Delivery at Guidewire.
Responsibilities
* Product Delivery is a small team devoted to coordinating, facilitating and improving processes that enable optimized planning, definition and release of Guidewire products across their lifecycle. These are some of the responsibilities that may be assigned to you: * Work closely with Pre-Sales/Launch, Product Marketing, Services/Consulting, and Customer Support Teams to enable effective hand-offs and information transfer during product release cycles. * Own cross-functional processes for new product introduction as well as the processes to ensure that the Product Master and associated systems and documents are complete, correct and up-to-date. * Manage and monitor how products are performing relative to key business goals, and define processes and tools to deliver KPIs and Dashboards with key measures and metrics. * Work closely with key stakeholders within product development and across the organization to plan, coordinate and communicate release schedules across the product portfolio and to set rational maintenance policies. * Work closely with Business/Go-To-Market, Sales/Consulting, Partners/Alliances and Corporate Strategy teams to understand business and market requirements and ensure that the requirements from multiple sources are captured, prioritized, tracked and communicated. * Own the cross functional processes to identify, quantify, mitigate and communicate impacts from business decisions, including acquisitions, new products and major customer projects. * Own the process by which we standardize Product Roadmap formats, align goals across product lines, and effectively communicate across the channels needed to support roadmap decisions. * Be a catalyst to evolve and innovate across the product lifecycle. * Communication is a key aspect of this job. You need to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing, to stakeholders, and cross functional teams on plans, goals and status. You need to understand the ins and outs of various communication channels. * Hold each team accountable for their deliveries and timelines through a baseline of excellent management skills. * Meet goals through a structured approach to problem solving, pro-active follow-up, and a “get it done” mentality.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors or Master’s Degree (preferred) is required. * 7+ years demonstrated success with complex programs in an enterprise software setting, preferably in a highly visible, highly leveraged role. * Experience with SaaS products a plus. * Able to establish mutual respect, build rapport and work collaboratively with all levels and functions within Guidewire.
