Summary

GrubHub is looking for tech-savvy food lovers to join our customer care organization. As a Specialist you will help hungry diners and restaurant partners to make take-out easy! Communicating effectively by phone call, e-mail, chat, or social media, this position requires flexibility, resourcefulness and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
* Support a high volume of customer contacts through e-mail, chat, and social media as well as inbound and outbound calls * Assist our restaurant partners in confirming, delivering and adjusting orders * Perform real-time updates to restaurant account settings and document any actions taken * Partner with Marketing, Technology and other Care teams in an effort to resolve all diner and restaurant questions and ensure customer satisfaction * Follow set policies and procedures to ensure consistency and operational excellence across the organization * Produce high quality work and meet regularly with the Quality Coordinators for feedback and coaching * Meet and exceed standards for agent productivity * Work with the leadership team to achieve specific call center goals in our pursuit to provide world class customer care
Ideal Candidate
* Hiring various shifts to support our 24/7/365 growing business - shifts will include weekends and holidays * College degree preferred, students welcome * 2 years of customer service or call center experience preferred * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Masterful problem solving skills – identifying root cause, customer need and providing solutions * Strong computer skills * Ability to manage stress – this is a rapidly changing company! * A good sense of humor and a team-player mentality
