Summary
Supports HR systems to ensure integrity of data, processes and functionality for human resources, business partners and employees. Provides functional support by researching and resolving end user issues, recommending and implementing solutions and troubleshooting system issues. Responsible for the functional development and implementation of HR Systems by participating in the review, analysis and testing in all areas; providing production support and delivering new functionality. Supports and leads project initiatives.
Responsibilities
Researched and resolves HR system problems, and unexpected results or process flaws, performs scheduled activities, and recommends solutions and alternative methods to meet requirements. Analyzes requests for enhanced HR system functionality. Researches alternative solutions to provide requested functionality and recommends solution that meets the business requirement. Performs configuration of various modules and business processes within HR systems including: HCM, payroll, benefits, absence/time off, security, notifications, compensation, talent and recruitment. Participates in system release process, reading release notes and performing knowledge sharing of HR system upgrades. Identifies and helps develop HRIS business processes, ensuring process/procedures are complete and maintained, supporting the creation of training and communication materials as needed. Participates in acquisition and divestiture activities as it relates to integrating HR systems. Acts as liaison between system business owners and Information Technology partners. Partners with IT for HR system modifications; participates in testing and provides functional expertise. Participates in educating the customer base as needed on HRIS system functionality, business processes and general system usability. Adheres to established service level agreements for all areas of HR system support. Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or Information Systems * 3 to 5 years experience supporting HR Systems * Experience working with Workday or a cloud based HRIS system * Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail * Project management skills desired * Knowledge of technical database concepts and design * Strong organizational, project management, written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work with all levels of the company and effectively present information to top management * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Excellent attention to detail * Flexibility * Willingness to work in a change-filled environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions
