Summary
POSITION OVERVIEW Join the General Mills media team to support our programmatic digital media planning, buying and inventory management process. This position collaborates with internal media strategists and agency partners to build winning programmatic campaigns across display, video, mobile and social channels. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience managing programmatic media planning, buying and tech management. They will demonstrate a data driven mindset and drive to improve delivery. They will have worked with and managed programmatic technologies – a DMP, multiple DSPs, ad servers, ad tagging, publisher partner relationships, etc. This is a new role at General Mills and will reshape how we plan, buy and optimize digital campaigns. It is an exciting opportunity for the right talent to lead and define go-to-market strategies and tactics.
Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Partner with internal teams and agency to build, execute and optimize programmatic campaigns * Manage programmatic ad tech stack with internal technology team & agency OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES * Analyze post campaign results to build long term insights and best practices for General Mills * Proactively manage portfolio media delivery quality - viewability, on-target, reach/frequency, etc. * Partner with agency to improve delivery through new tech, data sources , and inventory partners * Maintain a deep understanding of programmatic trends, strategies, and tactics * Additional duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree required * 3-5 years in digital media strategy and planning * 2+ years programmatic experience at an agency, advertiser or DSP / SSP * Expertise in tactical optimization of programmatic campaigns – look-a-like modeling, re-targeting, message sequencing, etc, * Working knowledge of all things programmatic tech – DMP, DSP, DoubleClick services, ad serving, etc. * Understanding of how to apply CRM data to paid media campaigns to increase effectiveness and efficiency * Strong project management skills and demonstrated attention to detail
