Summary
Kargo, the premier mobile publisher platform, is looking for a motivated Product Manager to join our growing Product & Engineering team. The product manager will work on Kargo’s newest and fastest growing business line, our Supply Side Platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with Kargo Business Stakeholders, Product, Programmatic Leaders, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Project teams to bring innovative products to life.
Responsibilities
* Own a variety of small/medium sized products within Kargo’s SSP. * Work with Project, Engineering and Design teams to meet milestones, goals and maximize the value of your products. * Conduct stakeholder interviews, exploratory brainstorms, document market and product research and new use cases. * Develop concepts and wireframes, any necessary design and product implementation. * Identify and explore new product ideas and new approaches or innovations for existing products. * Organize production rollouts across the organization. * Serve as project manager for a variety of concurrent projects by managing timelines and deliverables, running meetings, working through scope changes.
Ideal Candidate
* Ad Tech background, strong knowledge of both mobile and video ad serving, and the most commonly used standards (RTB, VAST, VPAID) * Strategic thinker with market insights; knowledge of SSPs, DSPs, Ad Servers or Publisher Products, particularly in the mobile area would be an asset. * Experience with ad serving platforms (Rubicon, AdX, PubMatic, BrightRoll) and programmatic products (Open RTB, Deal ID) * Programmatic Yield optimization a plus * Understanding of DMPs and data-driven ad products a plus * Successful history of integrating and building products through APIs, endpoints, and systems workflows * Experience in monetization of large online publishers * Portfolio and proven success of product ownership and product growth. * Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, multi-task, and meet fast evolving deadlines with a curiosity and passion for building badass, revenue oriented solutions. * Strong understanding and experience with product management techniques especially as it relates to delivery, prototyping, scrum and agile methodologies. * Comfort with balancing project vs. product management responsibilities.
