Since its establishment in 1999, Ambry has committed itself to developing and performing high quality genetic testing to aid in the diagnosis of genetic conditions, and assessment of hereditary risk.

Summary

Ambry is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to contribute to a dynamic commercial and marketing team. This person will be responsible for leading and promoting high-quality content for various audiences and brands as well as playing an integral role in executing integrated programs that drives awareness, engagement, educates, and creates demand for our line of products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the content distribution strategy and planning of our assets across relevant online publishers, Ambry sites, public relations firm, social media and VDN - video distribution network.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders – namely Product Managers, Sales Managers, Genetic Specialists, Creative team and Mauli Ola – on the production of digital content and campaign that meets business objectives (products update, product launches, corporate events, trade shows, community outreach initiatives, corporate announcements, etc…)

  • Manage editorial calendar and content types/promotion, including, but not limited to: brochures, sales sheets, white papers, case studies, webinars, blog posts, social posts, videos, ads, etc…

  • Work cross-functionally with clinical and technical experts to source and curate content for blogs, social media and community sites.

  • Ensure the timely distribution of assets to the right platforms and audience.

  • Define specific target audiences (providers, consumers, patients, health plans, advocates, etc.) for each campaign.

  • Own and drive followers’ adoption, traffic, impression, CTR and engagement of our content & campaign, and come up with idea and plan to improve and increase our share of voice. When need be, negotiate with DSP, RTB, data management & Ad serving platforms to optimize ROI of each campaign.

  • Define, monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaign, marketing materials, digital content and outreach programs.

  • Be a strategic counselor and go-to person for high-level communications/content strategy with senior management and product management teams

  • Be accountable for associated budgets and resources. Manage freelancers for our blogs and work closely with our advertising agency.

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in marketing communications with experience in consumer public relations, advertising agency, social media, copy writing and marketing collateral development, and specifically someone that have experience in the planning and procurement of online medias.

  • Experience managing direct reports and agency partners preferred

  • Strong project management skills with proven track-record of meeting aggressive deadlines and managing resources optimally

  • Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills with experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

  • Strategic and creative approach to communications and program development

  • Bright, hardworking and enthusiastic contributor to team and company culture

  • Ability to interact successfully and influence peers and management in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Broadcast/Journalism, Marketing or related field; advanced degree preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience creating highly technical content as well as modifying messaging/content for general audiences

  • Marketing agency experience a plus

  • Experience with HubSpot and SalesForce.com preferred

  • Experience working in a regulated environment a plus

  • Strong portfolio of creative work for a multitude of audiences

  • Advanced degree preferred
