Summary
We are seeking an energetic, motivated and creative team member to drive the development and execution of JLL’s marketing strategy in San Diego. Your primary responsibilities include new business development support and strengthening of the JLL brand through innovate paid, earned and owned integrated marketing campaigns. While you will be based and focused on San Diego, you’ll be joining the JLL Southwest Marketing Team which spans across Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix, Reno and Hawaii. The ideal candidate is an ‘up and comer’ looking to make that next career jump and has that rare blend of strategic marketing experience and solid design skills and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where strategic and proactive solutions are celebrated and rewarded. Our new marketer should have knowledge of the San Diego market landscape and come with Real Estate or AEC marketing experience.
Responsibilities
**Business Development Marketing:** * Focus on sales support activities. This includes the development and execution of all marketing materials for new business to include: pitches, proposals, boards, web and digital. End products should reflect JLL’s unique differentiators, competitive advantage and surpass stakeholder expectations. * Perform as the ‘knowledge hub’ for JLL’s San Diego service line and functional subject matter experts ensuring marketing efforts are coordinated, consistent, and relevant to the individual industries, markets and the firm. * Work in a dynamic team environment and coordinate marketing campaigns, build and execute on communication plans, use Adobe software to create and update collateral, and support the team in preparation of meetings, customer events and trade show programs. * Leads the RFP process which will include writing, editing, conducting strategy sessions with key stakeholders and be completed on time. * Must be able to build relationships with multiple business leaders and leverage resources in marketing, business unit, and leadership across the national JLL platform. * Lead sales assistants in the creation of library of core content for proposals and presentations including case studies, headshots, and bios. **Branding:** * Plan, produce and promote innovative marketing campaigns leveraging all marketing channels with the sole intent of elevating the JLL brand and reaching new and existing audiences. * Lead and execute the public relations and social media strategy for San Diego in partnership with our agencies. * Work directly and partner with our Senior Graphic Designer in developing marketing materials that should echo our key messaging and overall strategies * Oversee the creation and production of in-house business development marketing and communications materials, including reviewing specifications, obtaining and preparing bids, and acting as a liaison with vendors – all within brand standards and guidelines. * Partner with internal cross-functional team on campaigns, overarching themes, and key events, coordinate marketing collateral, including formatting and editing copy. * Oversight, management and spearheading of e-mailing, distribution, and tracking of all targeted marketing efforts, using the firm’s proprietary e-mail broadcast system and CRM tools. * Develop strategy for JLL San Diego’s web presence in concert with the southwest strategy and the national digital marketing team. Identify ways to expand JLL’s web presence and traffic. Maintain all content on San Diego website.
Ideal Candidate
* Passion for what you do and a drive to educate your stakeholders on the power of marketing * Organize, manage, and execute on objectives with minimal oversight, a strong attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and with appropriate timeliness. * Intermediate level Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) * Excellent writing, editing, verbal communication and presentation skills * Strong creative skills, and ability to provide art direction * Understanding of and commitment to client service * Ability to work effectively in teams and be committed to the idea of do whatever it takes * Ability to juggle multiple projects * All other duties as needed. We are small team with very little ego. * Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communication or journalism
