Description
• Partner on implementation of HR Programs and People initiatives for Banana Republic HQ.
• Own the HRG support and partnership for various client groups within Banana Republic.
• Integrates ideas, provides innovative solutions and develops best practices to ensure optimal support of the business.
• Directly support, coach and influence functional leadership teams.
• Partner and build relationships within BR/BRFS HQ employees and leaders, HQ Human Resources and Gap Inc. shared services.
• Advise and be a resource to business leaders on all aspects of organizational effectiveness, including: Recruiting/Staffing/Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation Strategies, ER issues/coaching, Gap Inc People Strategies, Leadership Coaching.
• Facilitate conflict resolution around sensitive issues; Assess high risk situations and drive resolutions that appropriately balance the needs of the Company, employees and management
• Support and execute HR programs and processes such as Rewards, EOS, talent reviews, compensation reviews, and succession planning discussions.
• Integrate ideas, provide innovative solutions and develop best practices to ensure optimal support of the business.
• Assess and build workforce plans. Drives to individual succession and development plans.
• Ensure client group adheres to policies and procedures throughout the employment process to ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, FMLA and other employment laws to reduce legal liability.
• Build manager capability in people management and employee lifecycle processes (e.g., interviewing, performance management, compensation management, sourcing talent, etc)
• Use employee insights to guide business leader actions that result in high levels of employee engagement and commitment.
• Link performance management to business strategy Drive business performance culture
Qualifications
• 5+ years HRG experience
• Broad knowledge of HR practices including compensation, performance management, leadership development, coaching, employee relations and change management
• Strong Organizational Design skills preferred Proven ability to interact and influence leaders at all levels
• Ability to successfully lead, coach and support leaders through change
• Demonstrated skills in assessing organization trends and developing HR solutions
• Strong coaching, counseling, oral and written communication skills
• Strong diagnostics skills (listening, probing, analyzing)
• Demonstrated sounds judgment skills - ability to assess risk and take appropriate action
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement creative solutions to meet organizational needs Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
