Summary
We’re seeking a strong talent acquisition leader, with demonstrated experience and passion to drive all aspects of our US and international hiring and employer branding efforts. You will be accountable for talent acquisition strategy and delivery of quality talent, in response to company and customer business needs and operations. Ideally you have experience in other areas of business operations and/or HR and you have built or been parting of building an employer brand and talent acquisition program from the bottom up.
Responsibilities
* Build and iterate on global Talent Acquisition (TA) platform, program and practices * Develop and implement workforce plans and create a successful talent pipeline strategy * Drive data-driven recruiting activities, including analytics that provide insight and decision support * Review reports and analysis with SVP, Human Capital and consistently meet with functional heads to review status of recruiting and new hires; use their input to iterate process and search practices * Develop alternative labor strategies – outsourced, contingent workforce, internships and the like * Closely collaborate with Marketing and other functions to develop and manage employer branding – internal and external, social and traditional; innovative candidate sourcing; and development of a strong talent pipeline * Actively nurture and maintain high-trust partnerships with leadership and employees; and, build mutually beneficial relationships in the communities in which we live and work * Develop university, community, and internship recruiting programs; lead diversity talent acquisition initiatives; create a physical presence (meetups, conferences, user groups) and online presence to promote Tillster, meet prospective candidates and stay abreast of market trends * Interface with other Human Resources programs and team members to utilize and mature talent acquisition and retention practices and programs such as managing the communication between offer acceptance and start date, onboarding and the first 90 days, visas and other documentation, compensation, benefits, data and reports, market trends and partnerships
Ideal Candidate
* 8+ years of talent acquisition and recruiting team leadership; preferably other operating and/or Human Resources experience prior to moving into talent acquisition and recruiting roles * 3+ years demonstrated success developing and leading talent strategy in a fast-paced, high-growth technology start-up environment * Experience in developing, refining and executing employer branding initiatives * Experience developing, coaching and mentoring a small but highly effective talent acquisition team * Passion for data, data-driven recruiting and decision-making; but comfortable moving forward when the data doesn’t tell the whole story, and you must rely on your knowledge, skills, capabilities, informed insights – and yes, instinct * Demonstrable experience in workforce planning, forecasting, and resource allocation * International recruiting experience highly desirable * Dedication to growing a center of excellence; open to learning from and coaching others in the art and science of talent acquisition * Disciplined focus, but highly adaptable to rapid change * Proven ability to multi-task, pivot to meet rapidly changing needs, problem solve and prioritize on the fly; and strong bias for action * Exceptional organizational, presentation, and verbal/written English language communication skills * Foreign language skills in Spanish, French or other language(s) highly advantageous * Intellectually curious, analytical, results-oriented * Impeccable attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical code of conduct * Engaging, customer-centric personality * Ability to travel up to 25% of time * Ability to create clarity from chaos – with a sense of humor * BA/BS in Human Resource Management / Organizational Leadership & Development, or closely related field or degree in an area related to the work Tillster does (technology, marketing, etc.)
