Summary
The Marketing Associate, Customer Direct Marketing will assist in leading strategy development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns and related marketing programs that seek to drive retention, growth, greater customer satisfaction, customer value and G&K brand preference. The candidate will be responsible for marketing programs, customer lifecycle communications and overall performance.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Associate Marketing Manager- Direct Marketing and other marketing team members on utilization of the marketing automation tool to enhance and leverage G&Ks; customer touchpoints * Develop, implement and manage multi-channel marketing and awareness campaigns and touchpoint planning that supports customer retention, growth and loyalty program strategies while driving customer understanding and trials of our product and service offering * Develop performance goals, frequency plan development and oversee program execution, measurement, and reporting. * Conduct post-campaign analysis to determine success rate of external print and digital campaigns as well as internal contests. Recommend program changes based on findings to optimize program effectiveness and profitability/ROI, increase response rates on all marketing channels (i.e. direct mail, e-mail, webinars, print, digital), and optimize targeting/segmentation. * Collaborate with G&K;’s front line team to develop integrated, personalized multi-channel campaigns to support company wide, regional and local campaigns. * Collaborate with IT/CRM team to develop integrated marketing database to enable personalized and triggered marketing communications that drive profitable revenue and enhance the customer experience [pre and post usage]. * Collaborate with marketing and product management team to identify various opportunities, campaign strategies and the framework for measurement and reporting. * Own customer data capture and analysis, assist in development of models, customer profiles/personas and other analyses that better target prospects and customers through various marketing mediums. * Develop creative briefs, manage creative development, and create content for, but not limited to, direct mail, e-mail, print, digital, webinars and works with marketing team members on marketing opportunities while formulating creative testing strategies that continuously optimize response rates. * Identify, recommend and manage external printers, developers and vendors that deliver best-in-class programs within budget * Monitor all direct marketing-related customer correspondence to gain insights for future enhancement and ensure customer satisfaction * Assist in the development and implementation of various marketing tools, collateral and campaigns as assigned * Additional projects as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Marketing, Economics, Finance or related field) is highly preferred * 2-3+ years of experience * Experience with creative development and management of multi-channel direct marketing programs, including integrated print and digital campaigns. * Managing large-scale customer management direct marketing programs including mail, email and online * Development and implementation of successful database-driven direct marketing strategies, including testing techniques. * Intermediate knowledge of the Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite- experience with Microsoft Excel including advanced functions (pivot tables, lookups, macros) and Access or similar database software packages a plus. * Demonstrated knowledge of marketing automation tool * Experience with Salesforce.com CRM and Act-on a plus * Taking initiative and strong ability to execute with accountability * Excellent problem solving skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong strategy development skills * Innovative thinker * Strong decision making skills * Ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions * Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business * Keen focus on the customer and the customer experience * Minimal travel required, i.e. once a quarter
