Summary
The Single Family Strategic Delivery group is responsible for managing offerings and initiatives that add value to Freddie Mac Sellers and Servicers and our business partners.. The Project Management Senior Business Lead is responsible for the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures) with a focus on leading the implementation and change management of credit offerings. This position works on multi-disciplinary projects and the incumbent is required to have broad knowledge of the organization and key functions. Strong quantitative, analytic, organization, and project management skills are required. The Project Management Senior Business Lead must be able to work collaboratively with business partners across the organization to meet implementation deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Lead project team in the analysis, development and execution of new or revised offerings * Create flexible and executable business solutions * Build and maintain strong business partner relationships * Manage full lifecycle project activities and documentation requirements from concept through execution within SF Project Management governance framework. Examples include, Concept Definition, Business Case Development, Project Plans and Budgeting, Issues/Risks and External Customer Rollout * Communicate major milestones and project risks/issues to stakeholders and management * Work collaboratively with cross-divisional stakeholders key stakeholders to determine and manage operational and system impacts * Support the overall success of multiple concurrent efforts/initiatives * Work collaboratively with Technology Partners in developing business solutions for customers
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience * Experience in creating and defining business cases * Experience with Project Management Industry Standards and Best Practices. . * Proficient with project, resource management and documentation tools including MS Project, MS Visio, Planview, Excel and PowerPoint * Primary mortgage experience * Strong quantitative, analytic and project management skills * Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication and listening skills * 8-10 years related experience **Preferred Skills** * PMP preferred * Primary mortgage experience with emphasis on Credit Policy, Underwriting or Risk Management preferred
