Summary
Armed with our industry-changing GRM platform, our Business Development team relishes the opportunity to help potential customers transform their businesses through the power of our technology. Its success is accelerated by the implementation of a high-octane sales operations engine. We’re looking to bring on a Director of Sales Operations not only to ensure seamless maintenance of our business systems and processes, but also to identify opportunities for added operational efficiencies. With an understanding of what technical levers to pull to better arm our BD team members, this individual also has an intrinsic understanding of human behavior and leverages it to provide high-impact training as well as incentive frameworks that align individual and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Create sales motion and channel strategy in collaboration with VP of Sales and other business leadership - Lead ongoing territory and commission plan design, as well as sales goaling - Ensure appropriate technical implementation of FiscalNote’s CRM, Salesforce.com, as well as all process and automation - Ensure appropriate architecture and access to all reports, dashboards, pipeline analysis, and forecasting - Develop and produce timely and accurate sales performance reporting, in addition to any related ad hoc analysis - Coordinate and oversee Business Development team training - Manage team of 2-3 sales operations personnel

You believe that like a Product Design team focuses on a client’s user experience, the Sales Operations team must understand the user behaviors of the greater sales organization in order to provide tools and knowledge for sales acceleration. Although you identify innovation and ingenuity key to operational success, you attribute your personal growth to old fashioned hard work and resiliency and you expect the same from anybody you work with. **You Have** - Undergraduate degree - Proven understanding and development of sales processes, reporting, and forecasting - Extensive experience in performance reporting and forecasting, sales compensation, sales channel deployment, territory planning, sales tools deployment, and sales training - Experience optimizing sales tools, particularly Salesforce.com - A love for data and analysis that yields specific insights and actions - Demonstrated business acumen - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong listening and presentation skills - Ability to prosper in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
