Summary
Sales compensation at MuleSoft works closely with sales operations, FP&A, the CFO and the sales organization to align sales incentives with the strategic goals of MuleSoft in order to fuel our explosive growth. Additionally, we provide analytical support for the company's long term financial plan, executive level reporting to sales leaders and actionable insights that inform better decisions as we strive to build one of the world's greatest software companies.
Responsibilities
**Position Deliverables:** **30 days:** * Gain familiarity with MuleSoft's compensation plans, and participate in MuleSoft's evaluation of compensation automation software **60 days:** * Manage and administer compensation plans as well as identify areas for automation and process improvements **90 days:** * Work cross functionally to implement compensation automation software * Be a trusted advisor to the sales organization and recommend solutions to compensation related issues * Create new compensation plans for new hires, and revise existing plans for role changes * Work on ad-hoc analyses as requested by the company’s executive staff members * Provide support for compensation related inquiries and requests * Regularly streamline processes and workflows to help the sales compensation team stay lean and effective in supporting the company’s goals * Manage and streamline the company’s compensation automation and planning software
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of analytical experience working with large data sets * BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, sciences or other quantitative fields * Intellectual curiosity to regularly challenge the status quo * A “do whatever it takes” attitude to drive change within the organization * The ability to work well with a variety of personalities towards a common goal * Customer service oriented with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels of the organization * Strong enthusiasm, drive and a desire to learn * Experience with enterprise software companies and SAAS business models is a plus * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Tableau, Salesforce and/or compensation software (e.g. Xactly, Callidus, Netsuite, Cognos) is a plus
