Summary
Oversees the Investment Advisors group while managing the services that are provided to high net worth Private Bank clients for the Fifth Third Bank affiliate. Develops and implements strategic plan and annual budget for the Affiliate Private Bank Department. Provides support to key business initiatives within IA.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a leader of the Private Bank for the affiliate. This includes Wealth Planning, Fifth Third Securities, Institutional Services, Fifth Third Asset Management, Personal Trust, Performance Management and Mirador. The primary objective is to grow revenue for the Private Bank of the assigned affiliate. * Provide direct management of Wealth Management Advisors (WMAs), Private Bankers, Private Bank Investment Executives and High Net Worth Insurance Specialists. * Actively recruit, develop and retain individuals in the above positions. * Champion the IA "One Bank" strategy with the other lines of business to generate new business for the Private Bank in the Affiliate. * Deliver excellent and consistent customer experience to all households in the Private Bank. * Actively engage in community involvement to increase the visibility of the Private Bank in the local market. Assume leadership role in appropriate community organizations to foster new business opportunities, similar to the Affiliate President. * Assist Affiliate President with development of growth initiatives while working closely on special service needs. * Drive prospect pipelines and generate new business. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** * Providing employees timely * candid and constructive performance feedback * Developing employees to their fullest potential by providing challenging opportunities; * Developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning * Recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
Ideal Candidate
* BS/BA required. * CFP/CFA and MBA preferred. * Minimum of 8 years related Investment experience (e.g. investment management and trust). * Proven business development skills. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate. * Excellent communication skills. * Series 7, 66 and 24 is required unless a fully licensed Director of Private Bank Sales (7, 66 and 24) reports into the Affiliate IA Manager and assumes the supervisory resposibilities for the Private Bank licensed employees.
