Responsibilities
The candidate will be part of a team that is currently involved in analyzing, understanding, specifying and delivering the integration of the Investment Manager end clients into the platform. The candidate will be a member of the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) team and will help in translating business requirements into functional specifications. The candidate is expected to interact on a regular basis with key stakeholders such as the client, BAs, BSAs, product, operations, development and testing teams. The candidate will also participate in documenting functional test cases and participate in functional testing as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* BA / BSA experience in requirements gathering, data mapping, and data analysis working within the Investment Management or Investment Services industry (Middle Office Outsourcing, Fund accounting etc.). Ability to partner effectively with development teams. Experience in mapping inbound data like Trades, Security Master, Corporate Actions, Pricing, Transfer Agency feeds, Expenses (mutual fund and otherwise) and other related reference data to Eagle STAR/PACE message Streams, panels, and uploaders as well as ability to work on outbound extracts / reporting. Good understanding of financial instruments and processing within Eagle STAR / PACE. Ability to leverage core product capabilities without major customization to solve business needs. * Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline required, or equivalent work experience required. 4-6 years of experience in a systems environment required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Industry certification in CFA, CIPM, FRM, or an advanced degree like MBA will be nice to have. * Excellent SQL skills with an ability to navigate the Eagle STAR/PACE data model using table joins. Ability to investigate and help resolve issues by using the appropriate tools within the product. **Preferred skills** * It is preferred that the candidate has relevant experience working with the Eagle suite of products (specifically Eagle STAR/PACE). Relevant experience working with multiple asset classes and the end to end investment management / fund accounting life cycle is preferred. Investment management or Investment Services industry business operations experience in one or more areas involving - Trade processing, Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, Reconciliation, Security Reference Data, Pricing, Corporate Actions, Performance Measurement and Attribution etc.
