Summary
The Research Analyst will be an integral member of the Strategic Sourcing team and will partner with recruiters, external candidate developers and talent acquisition leaders to uncover and identify talent for job functions and/or specific roles. The Research Analyst will conduct multi-faceted research to obtain competitive intelligence and will initiate market scans and talent mapping for use in targeted sourcing efforts. They will provide value-added insights on talent markets, competitive landscapes, and organizational structures/trends and work to improve the overall research capabilities of the entire TA function.
Responsibilities
* Utilize advanced methods to find and uncover talent in specific geographies and/or job functions * Collaborate with sourcing and executive recruiting teams to understand talent needs; recommend alternative sources and/or competitors based on industry knowledge * Provide talent acquisition colleagues with thorough and detailed organization charts, prospect information, and/or market insights to inform sourcing efforts * Gather and synthesize market, candidate and industry data and share with business leaders, colleagues or partners in a variety of forums * Assist in training talent acquisition teams on research and sourcing best practices and/or optimization of tools or technologies * Keep apprised of best practices and emerging tools/technologies; introduce and/or pilot when appropriate * Maintain candidate relationship management tool (CRM) with research findings and sourcing results
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required * 2 years of experience in research methodologies, library science, or other research-related field with an interest in talent sourcing * Experience summarizing and presenting research outcomes, conclusions and recommendations in a clear and concise manner **Skills and Knowledge** * Proven success utilizing a variety of methods to produce relevant and timely research * Able to effectively present market insights to peers and business leaders while clearly articulating results and/or alternatives * Exceptional organizational and time management skills including the ability to work independently to complete concurrent assignments in a timely fashion * Creative problem solver with the ability to quickly and effectively get things done while managing unanticipated issues and competing priorities * Resourceful, critical and strategic thinker * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
