Summary
The Inbound Logistics Analyst is responsible for designing and managing the inbound logistics supply chain design for assigned assembly plants in FCA's North American network.
Responsibilities
* The Logistics Analyst works closely with internal and external transportation suppliers and assigned plants ensuring timely delivery of parts to FCA facilities balancing end user requests, competitive cost, and service provider performance. * The Logistics Analyst acts as the liaison between the Inbound Logistics department, Assembly, Manufacturing Production Control, lead logistics providers, transportation providers, other FCA supply chain management departments and the FCA supplier network.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree required * Preferred focus areas in Business, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or Purchasing * Very strong Microsoft Excel skills required * Strong verbal and written communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior automotive industry experience * Strong problem solving and analytical ability * Strong interpersonal skills * Advanced Microsoft Excel / database management skills
