Summary
AGCO is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Warehouse team in Batavia, IL. The Warehouse Supervisor will play a key part in organizing and overseeing efficient performance and quality production of the warehouse employees. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the receipt, processing, packing, and shipping of materials and parts for all types of agricultural machinery.
Responsibilities
- Train, evaluate, and supervise employees to ensure goals and that quality standards are met - Respond accordingly to inquiries and/or complaints from employees, customers, and dealers to promote positive relationships - Organize and delegate responsibilities to the warehouse employees - Maintain documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures (i.e., attendance and performance records) - Work cooperatively with other departments to accomplish tasks - Monitor and control inventory - Utilize Lean methodologies for process improvements, cost savings, quality control, and safety assurance
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Supervisor:** - 2+ years of recent distribution center, warehouse, third party logistics/provider, or manufacturing experience, such as in a PDC (Parts Distribution Center) - 2+ years of recent experience managing 15+ direct reports in a fast paced environment - 2+ years of experience working with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) - Ability to maneuver across a warehouse setting, including climbing stairs, standing for up to 85-90% of the day, and carrying up to 70 pounds - Proficient in Microsoft Excel **Preferred Qualifications of the Warehouse Supervisor:** - Agriculture, construction, off-road/highway, heavy duty, forestry, aerospace, or automotive industry experience is preferred - 2+ years of experience managing labor on the floor, such as hours to volume metrics - Knowledge of agricultural parts, machinery and equipment **Educationof the Warehouse Supervisor:** - Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in an applicable focus such as Supply Chain or Business Administration
