Summary
This role will drive focused marketing strategy and implementation for a specific territories, Canada and South America, specifically Mexico and Brazil . As the marketing lead and primary liaison to the sales team and channel partners, this field-based position is a senior role requiring experience both in strategic account marketing and managing the core development activities. Responsible for planning, execution and tracking of regional marketing and communications plan for segment and divisions focusing on increasing revenue and market share. Act as the focal point for the prioritization and feedback of all field marketing information and positioning requirements. Identify, develop and exploit best practice processes among sales & marketing productivity.
Responsibilities
* Work with Corporate Marketing, Sales and cross-organizational functions to create a plan of initiatives that are in alignment with brand strategy, business plan objectives, and existing corporate programs. * Work with top revenue Partners in territory to build a joint marketing plan * Develop and execute agreed upon marketing programs and sales tools; and creation of/or participation in RSA, Partner, and/or 3rd-party industry events. * Manage to a defined budget. * Management of in-territory Partner(s) co-op funding * Work with regional sales management to determine best practices for targeted and broad-base programs. * Act as key conduit between Channel and Sales management * Participate in appropriate strategy and program development sessions. * Gather marketing data for marketing analysis of Field programs and initiatives. Track trends and ROI. Maintain complete transparency by ensuring all field marketing programs and results are input into RSA’s CRM system appropriately/accurately and provide ongoing ROI reporting.
Ideal Candidate
**Success Factors:** * A successful Sr. Field Marketing Manager will build a deep understanding of the fiscal year plan. The candidate will have strong ties with sales – as a result of the ability to work with direct and indirect sales managers to create and execute on an agreed-upon plan that aligns with overall marketing and sales objectives. * The candidate serves as a primary communications conduit to the holistic marketing team to ensure assets and campaigns are aligning with the market in an integrated marketing approach. * In addition, the candidate must track and measure success through measureable metrics and goals, and provide regular communications to sales on the status of his/her territory’s plans and events. * Experience working with teams and clients in South America, specifically Mexico or Brazil. **Required Skills:** * BS/BA (non-technical). MBA a plus. * Minimum 7 years of experience working in marketing, field marketing, or marketing sales programs. * Experience and proficiency with traditional marketing vehicles such as email and CRM, as well as digital marketing and social media. * Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills with ability to communicate conceptually and tactically – including strategy, planning, and executing activities.
