Summary
Our inside sales team is growing! We are looking for professional inside sales to run open territories, make money and take their careers to the next level. You will own a territory and will be responsible for the entire sales cycle – lead to close.
Responsibilities
* Develop a business plan to drive your territory to new heights. * Be supported by marketing, outbound lead generation team and an entire echo-system, including field sales and pre-sales consultants. * Drive the key initiatives in your territory. * Interact daily with our customers prospecting for additional business and calling within different levels of our customer base. * Develop a healthy pipeline, take that pipeline and advance it through the sales cycle and close business. * Interact regularly across multiple supporting departments within the Ellucian organization. * Bring a competitive spirit and a winning attitude to the team. * Consistently managing and accurately forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual pipelines and forecasts. * Develop proposals, quotes and pricing for your clients. * Bring a passion for Higher Education and a commitment to help your customers succeed. * Leverage social selling approaches to nurture, educate and win more deals. * Bring ideas to the table that can help you win more business Commitment to WIN! * Prioritize, manage your time and focus on execution.
Ideal Candidate
**Position Requirements:** * Previous software sales experience. * BA/BS Degree * Knowledge of Higher Education is a plus, but not necessary. **Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:** * Experience selling to small, medium and or large corporations. * Strong ability to develop and manage executive customer relationships and work with multiple levels within an organization to articulate the business value of our company’s products and services. * Proven ability to successfully sell software, managed consulting services deals. * Strong desire to rapidly grow revenue/business within assigned territory and to develop Ellucian as the solutions provider of choice in that territory. * Strong ability to balance the accomplishment of near-term revenue goals with the long-term, multi-year territory development including pipeline management and updating. * Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills. * Strong business acumen and judgment for identifying, evaluating, developing, and closing sales opportunities. * Excellent sales presentation and business writing skills. * Excellent time management and organization skills. * Experience developing financial spreadsheets and business justification cases. * Experience presenting solutions both internally and externally. * Ability to network and develop strong business relationships not only with customers and prospects in the assigned territory, but with all departments and key stakeholders within Ellucian.
