The Manager, Sales Development is a key role within EAT Club’s sales organization reporting the Vice President of Sales.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for both inbound lead follow up and outbound prospecting * Hire and onboard new SDRs – design and execute a repeatable onboarding program for fast productivity ramp up of new team members * Work closely with Senior Sales Management and Marketing to define and continuously optimize SDR lead follow up process and outbound prospecting process * Understand deeply EAT Club’s value proposition and how it help solves business problems for our customers. * Understand and train the team on EAT Club’s competitors and industry trends * Develop and implement sales tactics with the team to generate prospects’ interest and discovery conversations leading to new pipeline development (targeting, message templates, campaigns, etc.) * Provide continuous coaching to team members to develop their professional sales skills * Motivate SDRs through contests, incentives and making them successful * Measure key SDR performance metrics every day, analyzing and making data-driven decisions to achieve new pipeline creation goals * Leverage systems and tools to increase efficiency and SDR productivity * Coach the team on sales methodology by using role plays and other training
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of inside sales or sales development experience in SaaS * 1+ year of inside sales/sales development team management * Bachelor degree required * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity start up environment * Self-starter, results oriented with strong analytical and managerial skills * Knowledge and experience with using a CRM and SDR productivity tools
