Summary
The Sr. HRIS Professional will lead cross-functional teams through the design, delivery and implementation of new tools and services while providing our day to day operations. You will help to build robust and streamlined business processes and interface with key business and People team stakeholders. Workday expertise is critical to support our functional leads and to manage project plans, resourcing and collaborating to define strategy and goals.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain project plans for Workday releases, pipeline and roadmap. * Create and maintain tracking of ticket progress, issues and risks including weekly meetings with the functional leads and the HRIS team. * Manage the roll out of new tools and system upgrades including delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, training materials and post launch support resources. * Create and determine project governance, decision-making structure, change management and communication plans for the HRIS team. * In-depth knowledge of HR processes, advise on best practices for optimizing HR tools, drive global HR process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility. * Develop and drive innovative and proactive change efforts for HR process improvements. * Analyze reports & data to identify trends and recommendations to highlight process optimization and system enhancements. * Own vendor relationships and manage operational issue identification and resolution.
Ideal Candidate
* On your resume we will see a BA/BS in HR, Business or a related field plus 5-10 years of experience. A Master’s Degree is preferred. * Technical capabilities - HRIS Workday experience with HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking and Reporting is required to support our end users and functional leads. You must also be also comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint. * Flexibility – you are able to work across time zones to support our 20 country deployment. * Strong consultative skills – you excel at identifying the root reason for “the ask” and have that guide your conversation with a client; you look for ways to bring more value through your approach. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you converse easily with others and listen effectively, you ask for feedback along the way and consider alternative views. * Excellent project management skills – you’re adept at managing multiple deliverables, you set expectations, you stick to deadlines, you communicate progress. * Strong attention to detail – you take pride in your work products.
