Responsibilities
* Drives the completion of annual budgeting and monthly reporting of financial results for respective expense functions within D&B. (i.e., monthly forecasting, month end close, variance analysis, preparation of annual plans, risk/opportunity analysis). * Responsible for consolidation and reporting of financial results for D&B’s Content and Technology organization (i.e. monthly, quarterly variance analyses, Investment Reporting, CAPEX, etc.) * Analyzes financial information and its impact on the business and provides perspective to functional partners. * Collaborates with global finance team members to provide complete view of functional expense performance. * Supports investment/business case development, analysis, and reporting of actual results. Delivers high quality / value added analytical support to functional business partners as well as internal finance departments. * Owns North America cross border planning / forecasting by working with cross functional teams to ensure accurate recording of I/C revenue & expense with D&B sister and partner markets. * Supports bid process and comes to understand underlying I/C transaction system / processes. Focused on continuous process improvement
Ideal Candidate
* 3 to 5 years of financial experience, particularly with expense management / business partnering * Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting required * Strong communication, organization, interpersonal and analytical/problem solving skills * Significant budgeting & forecasting experience * Strong process orientation and personal computer skills, especially in developing financial & analytical models, working with large data sets. Particularly strong excel skills. * Ability to work well in a teaming/collaborative environment * Ability to adapt to re-prioritization in a rapidly changing environment * Knowledge of financial systems Hyperion / TM1, Business Objects, Oracle
