Responsibilities
* Manage the sourcing, recruitment, assessment/selection, offer, negotiation and closing of full lifecycle recruiting within assigned geographical territories * Source candidates using a variety of creative, cost-effective, and diverse methods, including direct sourcing, cold calling, networking, internet research, and employee referrals * Conduct behavioral and competency based interviews. Develop a deep understanding of the candidate’s leadership style, personal background, professional history, and specific fit to the role. * Develop strong rapport and partnership with hiring managers, acting as an advisor to help determine their external talent needs, develop strategies to identify talent, facilitate the interview/hiring process, provide support and training as needed. * Participate in Talent Planning / Succession planning meetings * Ensure sourcing and recruiting databases are updated and all internal reporting requirements are completed accordingly * Strengthen and develop the DSW brand in the external marketplace through participation in career fairs, networking events, webinars, and other channels. * Stay current on DSW’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices * Serve as SME to business leaders as it relates to internal and external emerging work force trends, talent market intelligence, and employment laws. * Collaborate with Talent Acquisition partners in the development of talent strategy goals
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered. * Minimum of 5+ years' experience in retail talent acquisition/recruiting with a proven ability to build strong relationships within the retail community * Knowledge of multiple recruiting methodologies, including direct sourcing, networking, cold calling and referrals. * Demonstrated record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, and integrity * Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, follow up, and project management skills * Ability to deliver results on multiple priorities simultaneously. Flexible approach to adjust to priorities that meet the needs of the business. * Proficient technical skills with Microsoft applications, Recruiting & HR systems * Solid business acumen and ability to utilize data to drive decision-making and improved efficiencies.
