Recruits for positions up to the District Supervisor or District Manager level
- Develop an understanding of the assigned functional area talent needs and develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire best-in-class talent for the area
- Establish, build, and maintain, strong relationships with Hiring Managers and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs)
- Develop communication plans and proactively communicates with Hiring Managers and HRBP’s
- Conduct intake sessions with the hiring managers and create staffing plans to meet their talent needs
- Partner with hiring manager to determine staffing needs, prioritize position requirements and when needed, challenge hiring manager assumptions to help deliver the best talent for the position
- Communicate with Hiring Manager regarding all open positions; status, candidate activity and challenges
- Proactively research and gather market intelligence to help inform sourcing strategy
- Source active and passive candidates to build external talent pipeline, through networking, cold calling, internet research, social media, online databases (job boards), contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals
- Educate hiring managers on trends in the labor market
- Oversee the interviewing, testing, and hiring processes; compile interview feedback from the interview team and partner with the hiring manager to come to a hiring decision
- Influence candidates to see TJX as the “Employer of Choice” by representing the TJX brand and values at all times
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone or in person interviews and present qualified candidates to hiring manager to interview
- Interview applicants and gather information regarding their education, experience, training, job skills, and salary requirements
- Request candidate reference checks, communicate status of selection process to applicant, and extend employment offers to candidates
- Adhere to and deliver to the agreed upon service level agreements (SLA’s)
- Problem solves; develop creative and innovative plans/strategies to overcome roadblocks encountered during the recruitment lifecycle
- Utilize TMS to post open positions, manage applicants and update status of open requisitions. Must update and maintain TMS regularly
- Understand the talent demands of their assigned functional area and translate those demands into a staffing strategy that is timely and results driven with clear action items
- Build and maintain a vast network of professional relationships over time
- Strong understanding of Recruiting and HR Concepts, policies and procedures
- Demonstrates an ability to establish planning and routines to achieve optimal productivity and results

Minimum Formal Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience
3+ years recruiting experience
