Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for achieving the recruitment team objectives by sourcing and evaluating passive and active job seekers and to attract talent to the organization. The Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruiting process in a full cycle recruiting environment from posting a position to successfully hiring a candidate. The Recruiter works closely with the Recruiting Manager, Recruiting Coordinators, Hiring Managers, Interview Teams, Human Resources Partners, and other functional areas to attract and acquire a highly talented and diverse workforce.
Responsibilities
* Forecast, develop and execute comprehensive sourcing plans for assigned market(s) to create candidate pipeline consistent with business trends. * Identify market trends and employment conditions within assigned territory. * Engage in continuous improvement for recruiting process. * Manage recruiting process by utilizing a consultative approach with decision makers. * Collaborate with hiring managers to clearly define the position needs and core accountabilities of each position. * Set expectations for all stake holders in the hiring process; gain agreement on schedules and responsibilities. * Present qualified candidates to hiring managers in a timely manner to maximize customer service and reduce time to fill and meet team expectations of metrics. * Create posting scripts and manage talent pools in accordance with Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) guidelines. * Attract job seekers by partnering with local advertising resources in addition to leveraging job boards, and other applicable sources to attract talent. * Ensure a positive candidate experience. * Accomplish Talent and Organization Mission by completing projects and tasks as assigned. * Ability to recruit and manage a requisition load of over 50 full time hourly openings at one time. (Drivers, loaders, merchandisers, forklift operators).
Ideal Candidate
* Associates Degree or High School Diploma/ GED with 3 years of experience * 2 years’ experience in a fast paced environment recruiting for manufacturing and / or sales functions * 2 years’ demonstrated ability to attract top talent to the organization and achieve set goals * 2 years utilizing an applicant tracking system (such as Taleo)
