Summary
The Strategic Marketing Planner supporting the Financial Services Audit practice oversees strategy and planning for integrated marketing campaigns that support this business within the Financial Securities Industry group.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Financial Services Industry SMP Lead and the Financial Services Audit Leader and leadership team to develop strategic marketing campaigns and create the strategic briefs that can be executed with support from Marketing Services * Manage overall marketing program and calendar, including major campaigns, product/offering launches, major events, and core marketing maintenance activities * Serve as a liaison between the FSI Audit practice, Marketing and Communications, and other parts of the matrix * Engage other SMPs to coordinate campaign activities and pull in other capabilities, as appropriate * In conjunction with the Financial Services Industry SMP Lead and FSI Audit Leader, develop, maintain, and drive prioritization of all marketing activities for FSI Audit, especially within the Banking & Securities and Investment Management priority sectors * Plan and manage marketing budgets for campaigns as well as utilize metrics and KPIs to assess campaign success
Ideal Candidate
**Skills and Competencies:** * Deep understanding of the financial services industry * Demonstrated understanding of the professional services business and marketing strategies * Deep understanding of integrated marketing communications strategies and how they come together to provide measureable results * Executive presence, professional client service manner, demonstrated ability to take initiative * Strong persuasive skills; able to gain consensus through influence * An innovative thinker who can share their vision as well as gain buy-in to drive inventive and impactful marketing * Strong negotiation and problem solving skills; flexibility and adaptability * Ability to work in a virtual as well as a matrixed environment **Qualifications:** * 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing strategy and planning * Undergraduate degree required, Master’s degree a plus.
