Summary
Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of regional internal and external communications.
Responsibilities
* Assist in developing the marketing and communications strategy for corporate Brand and Advertising initiatives for NY Tri-State Region * Interface with internal clients/regional leadership to strategize and build integrated, creative marketing solutions to meet the strategic plan and resolve business challenges * Assist with development of annual marketing plans and associated budgets for the region * Drive the execution and implementation of all Brand and Advertising marketing programs * Help manage, maintain and execute each project, demonstrating leadership and ownership throughout the entire life cycle of the project * Lead and / or execute internal initiatives; improve processes / function / client service * Meet with business/regional leaders and key functions (e.g., HR, IT, Finance) to create internal communications and ensure the development and delivery of the right messages at the right time to the right audiences through the right vehicles * Provide guidance and oversight to internal teams and business leaders on internal communication strategy and execution * Ensure quality of all internal communications deliverables * Disseminate communications best practices throughout Tri-State (coordinating with Corporate Marcom, as needed) * Drive development of regional media plan; oversee yearly media placements and creative development * Develop and maintain relationships with publications to ensure timely receipt of advertising materials * Manage expectations and timelines, keeping communication open and proactive * Supervise internal and external marketing resources (Ad agencies, designers, printers, vendors) for delivery of projects on a timely basis * Serve as a brand steward. Collaborate with internal teams to regularly explore creative solutions that will help achieve economies of scale while maintaining the company standard * Apply strategic thinking to improve the ability of the marketing department to deliver cost effective and timely solutions to business and marketing challenges within the region. * Respond to unscheduled and unplanned marketing needs with a positive, can-do attitude * Provide follow-up, clarity, and communication for each stage of all marketing initiatives to clients * Manage daily maintenance (invoices, budget reconciliation, etc)
Ideal Candidate
* 5 years marketing experience either in a marketing department within a company or in a marketing/advertising agency. * Minimum 2-3 years experience in business-to-business marketing for services organizations, such as financial services, hospitality or professional services * Strong integrated marketing experience including but not limited to digital marketing, traditional advertising, below the line marketing (collateral, direct mail) and promotions and events. * Strong leadership skills; highly assertive with an independent working style * Excellent communication skills * Dynamic and open-minded personality * Strong project management skills * Strong presentation skills * Understanding of and commitment to client service – both internal and external * Ability and willingness to work as a member of a team * Attentive to details * Knowledgeable of media and production required * Ability to interact with senior-level executives, requiring confidence, excellent diplomacy skills, intelligence and communication skills. * Have an established track record of superior performance, innovative problem-solver who can dismantle roadblocks with flair and speed, in a client services role. * Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritizing, managing and driving each project to completion effectively and efficiently.
