Summary
Seeking Facilities Senior Director/Janitorial Subject Matter Expert SME to support the Janitorial Services in the development of programs to drive innovation, productivity and service quality with at least 10 years of experience.
Responsibilities
* This role provides support depth for our janitorial business, ensuring bandwidth to provide expertise for the improvement of existing business and development of new business. Initial focus will be to support adherence to standard process, development of metrics and support of cross sell initiatives. * The role provides necessary bandwidth to support new business development , deployment of ‘5S’ and Lean programs, 'green' cleaning and performance based cleaning strategies, and equipment/supply innovation (including supplier development (with Supply chain). * Develop and support other "soft services/environmental/facilities services" offerings such and Grounds/Landscaping. * Must be well versed in all things janitorial, connected in the industry, creative and energetic. * Able to send in front of an industry forum or client and be knowledgeable, compelling, credible. * Define our janitorial service product and value proposition, determine target markets, identify innovative approaches, and develop acquisition targets. * Drives the janitorial CoP, maintains the operating standards and support BD and solutioning.
Ideal Candidate
* A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments. Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy management. * Demonstrated business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding. * Exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills. * Strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building * Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus but not required. * Minimum of 4 year college degree required. * At least 10 year of janitorial management experience is required.
