Summary
The Business Analyst within a specific product segment is the translational expert; has subject matter expertise and is the liaison between end users/stakeholders and other support groups such as development and user experience. Candidates will need to provide proof of work during interview and will need to complete a business case scenario after interview. This position will work on the Specialty Pharmacy dispensing system. The dispensing system is used to dispense the drugs and manage business operations functionality. This area of the business is expanding with new pharmacies. The team currently consist of 8 developers, 0 BA and 3 QA. This role is a senior BA role, which is someone who understands BA in an Agile environment with 2 week sprints and possible 2 week turn around on releases. Fast pace.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for understanding the business requirements defined by stakeholders, product management and in conjunction with user experience personnel, translating those requirements into clear, unambiguous and concise documents that are used as the basis for software development design and quality assurance testing. * Tasks required to fulfill job responsibilities include the ability to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, prioritize, author and manage detailed requirement documents in an Agile environment. * These documents support the required work flow such as functional documents, stories and sprint ready directions.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree. Area of study in Business Administration, Marketing, healthcare, or related discipline. * 7 years related experience. Business analysis, requirements analysis, requirements management, program management, product management, software lifecycle experience. * Agile experience required. Must have Agile experience and understand how to deliver on requirements in a fast pace working environment. Nice to have: Internally motivated. Takes ownership and accountability for own work. Pushes self for results on commitments/deadlines. Maintains open, transparent dialogue. Provides accurate and timely information. Copes with change, strong problem solver, cooperative. Strong communication skills. Fast learner on applications and internal processes.
