As a Human Resources Manager, you will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, an evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, and practices.
- Responsible for all of the functions that deal with the needs and activities of the organization’s people, such as training; recruiting; hiring; mentoring; performance management; coaching; benefits administration; policy recommendations; leadership; employee relations and team building.
- Develops processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization’s business goal.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records and representing the organization at hearings.
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resources policies and procedures.
- Assists and advises company managers on Human Resources issues. Advocates for both the company and the people who work in the company.
- Develops systems and processes within the organization that addresses the strategic needs of the business. A strategic partner an employee sponsor/advocate and change mentor.
- Develops an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention, development and high performance.
- Provides overview of benefits programs to employees and answers benefits questions and carrier contact information.
- Participates in special projects or performs other duties as requested.
- Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related area of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience as a HR Generalist.
- Experience with a broad range of HR covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit.
- Requires occasional travel.
- Strong knowledge of government regulations related to Human Resources functions.
- Ability to use or learn a human resources information system.
- Very strong PC skills including spreadsheets.
Preferred:
- Previous HR Business Partner experience.
- SPHR or PHR certification.
