Director, Business Operations

Serve as strategic leader of the team responsible for supporting the Marketing organization in developing Revenue and Subscriber budgets/forecasts and the analysis/reporting of monthly results versus those plans. This includes overseeing the building financial models to accurately project/forecast the financial impacts of initiatives or business decisions related to Revenue and Subscribers. Operates with significant autonomy while serving as business partner for senior Marketing leadership to share key drivers of revenue and subscriber performance and assist and influences leadership in developing plans to deliver on financial commitments.

* Oversees and provides strategic direction for a team responsible for developing financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting including the identification of financial and operational risks and opportunities to Revenues and Subscribers * Oversees a team, and may personally conduct, the creation of complex financial models, financial tools, and assessments of alternative financial plans to support the delivery of financial expectations * Oversees a team, and may personally conduct, the development and adherence to reporting standards including data requirements for financial projections, modeling, analysis and recommendations * Leads the strategic financial planning, analysis and review through the identification of revenue growth profit-maximizing opportunities by improving current processes and providing meaningful information to key decision makers * Lead the creation and presentation of budget and forecast recommendations, monthly results and business cases impacts to internal customers and Sr. Leadership, and may lead the implement of solutions * Builds a team through recruiting, selection, developing, coaching and performance management * Develops the content and delivers presentations to summarize financial results and crafts messaging appropriate for audience * Other duties as required

**Minimum:** * 10 years (total) of related work experience with increasing levels of supervisory and leadership responsibility, preferably in the telecommunications industry. * 5 year of Experience supporting Revenues and/or Marketing Organization with budgeting/forecasting, financial modeling or analysis of monthly results * Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills and strong business acumen are essential * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to facilitate information sharing across the various groups in the organization * Strong presentation skills and including excellent knowledge of PowerPoint * Demonstrated ability to solve complex financial and analytical problems, with specific expertise in financial modeling, business analysis, and evaluation. * Excellent leadership skills, strong collaborator and proven customer focused approach to producing results * Strong project and process management skills * Excellent oral and written communications skills and executive presence **Preferred:** * BS/BA in related analytical field (i.e. Finance, Business Operation), MBA or MS/MA in related business discipline (Finance, Economics, Business Administration) a plus * 5 years or more of leadership experience in a people management role * Previous financial planning and/or analysis experience at a manager level or above. * Prior experience with Hyperion Essbase, Tableau, or related applications strongly preferred. * Prior Telecom industry experience preferred
