Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst - Operations Finance is responsible for providing financial leadership to key internal stakeholders and managing a multi-million Operations P&L in a dynamic business environment characterized by rapid growth and an evolving marketplace.
Responsibilities
* Provide financial leadership to both finance and non-finance business partners * Analyze P&L performance to support achievement of our annual budget and monthly forecast * Analyze actual performance against budget * Generate a monthly forecast for revenues and expense * Partner with key operations stakeholders to development a three-year strategic plan * Build an annual budget for revenue and expense * Develop business cases to support capital investment * Travel 10-15% of the time
Ideal Candidate
Candidates should be familiar with core finance and accounting principles, be able to communicate effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences, manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, and work independently away from headquarters. Given the dynamic nature of the business, candidates must be strong self-starters than can proactively identify and resolve emerging issues. The role also requires candidates to be skilled at relationship building and working cross-functionally to achieve business objectives. Finally, individuals must be able to learn and apply basic business principles in areas outside of Finance, specifically Operations, in order to perform the job successfully. Operations experience including call center, fulfillment, Business Process Outsourcing, Software-As-A-Service, LEAN process improvement, Real Estate required. * Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. MBA preferred. * Five to ten years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles with a heavy emphasis in providing support to Operations business partners * Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, all lookups) and an ability to build robust financial models * Proficiency with financial systems such as Essbase and Oracle as well as BI tools such as Oracle BI, Pyramid, or Tableau. * Ability to proactively identify risk and opportunities that could impact business performance and building recommendations to minimize risk or capitalize on opportunities. * Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organization * Self-motivated philosophy and strong project management skills * Demonstrated intellectual curiosity
