Responsibilities
* Responsible for investor marketing and client relations in North America. * “Stand in” for fund Portfolio Managers on the U.S. direct equity real estate platform. * Responsible for selling/positioning the full spectrum (private/public, equity/debt) of Cornerstone’s capabilities with investors. * Responsible for maintaining consultant relationships. * Maintain client relationships, conduct account reviews, participate in finals pitches, prospect a territory for new clients/new business. * Collaborate with other team members (Portfolio Managers, members of senior management, Cornerstone and Babson business development resources) to accomplish capital raising/client retention goals. * Organize and lead client/consultant due diligence meetings; marshal the appropriate resources, prepare the team and lead the meeting. * Actively participate in the development of new products in the U.S./European markets that will have appeal to capital sources. * Monitor investor trends, requirements and strategies so as to identify investment product opportunities. * Facilitate and manage periodic marketing trips within a region for key senior Cornerstone professionals. * Represent Cornerstone at industry events and organizations in the region. * Document activities appropriately in our client relationship management system.
