Summary
The Senior Director of Marketing - Belkin is the pivotal brand champion and steward across all touch points for the Belkin division on a global basis. As brand champion you will foster cross-functional integration to drive market growth, our brand story and manage every aspect of the marketing realm for optimal omni-channel experiences. As a Thought Leader you’ll continually position the brand with various audiences (retail, VAR, distribution), media and other key influencers. The key success metrics are market share and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Responsibilities
* Refine/develop the Belkin marketing strategy to deliver the division vision along with plan development and execution as befits the leadership position * Provide direction and vision for all marketing functions (Integrated Marketing Management, PR, Creative) to deliver upon these objectives * Collaborate with the Belkin leadership team to deliver a robust plan informed by consumer insights with a relevant product portfolio * Owns the Voice of the Customer (VoC) to achieve the highest category NPS (Customer Centric vs. company centric perspective) * Drive brand equity through creative consistency globally * Manage the marketing mix and program effectiveness across all channels * Leverage deep understanding and working knowledge of the Product Management, Sales, Engineering and Finance teams to ensure teams and their output work together to complement each other and produce the greatest ROI for the company * Leads Go-to-Market planning and execution, including promotion, marketing launch schedule, and calendar * Ensure global go-to-market programs are tailored for the specific countries to meet the need of customers * Drive excellence in execution by improving processes, collaboration and stakeholder engagement * Create marketing partnerships to reinforce brand relevancy * Responsible for budget management, ROI, and growth planning * Innovate – from Idea to Deployment * Build the best team by developing talent within and modelling behavior to engage employees
Ideal Candidate
* Must be strategic, creative, collaborative and able to lead teams to deliver on company strategic marketing goals; experience driving teams within a global organization * Proven marketing leader with a strong track record of building meaningful B2C and B2B brands globally * Undergraduate College degree (marketing/communications/management). * At least 12 years directing global brand marketing, communications and operations team or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in leading a networking/consumer electronics team strongly preferred * A successful track record of delivering measurable results. Demonstrated excellence in measuring, monitoring, and reporting marketing performance metrics * Multi-channel experience * Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve, and apply critical thinking to inform recommendations and decision-making * Strong project and people management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workloads * Proven ability to foster a culture of innovation within the organization and set vision for long term goals while delivering on short term needs. * Proven ability to interact with and influence diverse groups within the Belkin division , including cross-functional peers to executive management * Strong leadership skills to effectively mentor and motivate high performing team of employees, contractors and agencies * Excellent communicator with proven ability to convey complex ideas and data simply and clearly in written, presentation and spoken formats
