Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing consistent, timely and accurate support to a high profile client base. The ideal candidate will be flexible to change, skilled in conflict resolution, have a strong technical aptitude, and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management on the client side, as well as internally.
Responsibilities
* Respond to customer’s inquires or complaints regarding company’s products or services via incoming telephone calls, written correspondence or email correspondence. * Process payer required enrollment forms for providers for all services including electronic claim submission, eligibility, EFT and ERA services. * Provide technical assistance to offices using Change Healthcare on-line applications. * Balance a multitude of tasks and clients while preventing escalations. * Seek out needed improvements in processes and protocols to benefit customers and the department. * Review and research problems with respect to established policies, procedures and practices. * Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate departments. * Provide work leadership to lower level customer service staff. * Position may include some sales of Change Healthcare products and services.
Ideal Candidate
* 2+ years of experience supporting customers preferably in the healthcare field or insurance. * Associate’s degree or some college preferred * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) * Strong problem-solving skills * Excellent communication skills; email etiquette, use of proper grammar, probing skills in order to determine client needs * Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail * Highly organized; ability to multitask
