Summary
We are currently hiring for Marketing Analyst(s) to work in our Arlington, VA office. The Marketing Analyst will support the Marketing team in fueling CEB’s growth as we expand the companies we work with and drive deeper engagement of existing clients with the service. Analysts will help plan, design, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns in close collaboration with product and commercial teams to drive impact on business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Opportunities in Marketing are across several disciplines. Depending on the area of focus, Analysts could work to build product messaging plans, use multi-channel strategies to increase leads or increase use of the product, enable effective product launches; manage the communication messaging and timing to members or prospective members; or innovate on marketing tactics employed to strengthen brand awareness. Marketing Analysts will focus in one of the following groups: **Channel Marketing:** * Work alongside product marketing and product teams to identify the key ideas that will engage members in the service and plan the multi-channel campaigns that support that engagement. * Execute marketing campaigns that are consistent, creative, resonant, and easy to absorb and result in lead generation. * Implement marketing campaigns using Eloqua software, analyze data, recommend strategy shifts and measure campaign effectiveness – working with Central Marketing, as appropriate. * Promote CEB via Social media channels such as Chatter, LinkedIn etc. and measure campaign success * Measure channel marketing effectiveness through dashboard management using Eloqua, Google Analytics and other data measurement tools to inform marketing decisions. **Product Marketing** * Work alongside product teams to develop a deep understanding of storylines and product offerings and then work with Product Lead to successfully package, and communicate the value proposition to key client and prospect segments. * Help Product Marketing Team develop compelling product messaging & positioning, competitive differentiation, and compelling storylines for taking products to market (both existing and new product launches) through collateral, training materials, pitch decks, and other sales playbooks/tools. * Partner with demand generation and retention marketing teams to cascade and activate the commercial organization against key product initiatives and campaigns. * Improve sales and account management teams’ ability to authentically engage with segments through easy-to-absorb scripting and training materials and sessions in addition to maintaining central repository for scripting and sales support tools.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required * 2-4 years of marketing or sales experience. Experience in a B2B professional services or technology firm is strongly preferred. * Ability to influence and partner with internal business partners on strategic product objectives and challenges; Energy and positive attitude to work with varying stakeholders and get them through to the “final mile” of action and outcomes. * Able to influence and advise internal partners on marketing strategy and direction * Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness; Ability to build relationships and work well across multiple functions * Excellent written communication skills; Excellent oral communication skills; Ability to present self professionally and intelligently to internal clients/colleagues * Strong editing skills; Ability to learn substance of research quickly; Ability to graphically depict key insights; Synthesizes competitive information on an ongoing basis to inform marketing strategy; Proficient in Eloqua and Google Analytics and able present data clearly to inform decisions * Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills
